Financial Post: Former Wincanton Plc Director Chris Fenton to join Metro Supply Chain as President and CEO

Metro Supply Chain just announced the new appointment of Chris Fenton to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer effective August 17, 2022. Chris will be in charge of the operations and strategy part of thís long-standing supply chain solutions company.

Metro Supply Chain manages more than 12 million square feet in over 96 sites across North America and Europe with a team of 6,000 people. The Canada-based company is the largest private-owned company in this field and has been serving many world’s fastest growing and most reputable organizations.

The company is very excited about this appointment and is looking forward to a new era under Fenton’s management. In this new position, Fenton will report directly to former Group President, Martin Graham, who is subordinate to Founder and Group Chairman, Chiko Nanji. “We look forward to Chris driving forward the strategy that the Corporate Executive Team and Board have been building for many years to help our customers scale and evolve in an increasingly complex environment,” says Nanji.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the supply chain industry and 3PL operations. He worked for Wincanton Plc, a leading UK supply chain solutions company as Managing Director and Executive Team Member before joining Metro Supply Chain. “I am delighted to join Metro Supply Chain and I look forward to working closely with our Board, customers and team to continue to develop the supply chain solutions that organizations need today,” Chris shares.
